Who said there were no more EU funds available?
The BPCC's Tax & Finance Reform policy group met on 26 June for a meeting held in collaboration with PNO Consultants, on the subject of EU funds. Subtitled "Who said that were no more EU funds available", the event was intended to prove otherwise. CEO of PNO Consultants, Thomas Hoffmann, presented the EU-funded programmes that were still currently available.

The IT service model – an answer to the growing demands of business
The BPCC's Technology, Media and Telecoms (TMT) policy group met on 22 May at the British Polish Business Centre to discuss the practical aspects of outsourcing IT services to external service providers. In particular, participants had the chance to take a close look at the legal and practical aspects of cloud computing. The meeting was organised tby the BPCC together with law firm CMS and IT services provide Atende SA.
Poland celebrates in London
The BPCC joined British and Polish governments in celebrating 10 years of Poland's EU membership in London with a British-Polish trade and investment forum. The two-day event, which started at the Guildhall on 21 May, with opening addresses from Fiona Woolf, the Lord Mayor of the City of London, and Poland's deputy foreign minister Katarzyna Kasperczyk.

The BPCC's CleanTech policy group met on 17 April to hear about Poland's state of works over the draft of laws on renewable energy and the co-firing of renewable feedstock along with coal.
Processing personal data within a capital group - TMT policy group meeting
On 23 April, the BPCC's Technology, Media and Telecoms policy group met at the British Polish Business Centre to discuss issues surrounding the processing of personal data within a group of firms. The subject is of particular interest to multinational firms with operations in Poland, headquarters in another country, and data processing centres in a third.

Leeds Seminar Mixer, 20th November
The latest PBlink and BPCC event for Polish entrepreneurs in the UK was held in Leeds Town Hall on 20 November, bringing together over 40 people running their own businesses to learn about entrepreneurship in Britain. The event was judged a huge success, from the point of view of the high quality of business informational provided, the inspirational case studies and the networking that followed.
