Investment climate of the Silesia Region – why foreign investors should choose the Silesia region as a base of their operations in Central Europe

British-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Grant Thornton invite you to a debate.

During the meeting we will present the result of the 10th edition of the survey entitled „Investment climate in Poland”, conducted by PAIiIZ in cooperation with an audit-advisory-outsourcing company Grant Thornton. Opinions of foreign investors on doing business in Poland will be presented along with their assessment of general investment climate in Poland.

The debate will also refer to the FDI report on the assessment of the quality of economic environment of foreign direct investments in Poland, conducted by 14 international chambers, operating in Poland. That data will be presented for the first time in Warsaw the day before. The debate will probe the factors that determine the quality of the potential investments in Poland, with particular focus on the Silesia region. We will also discuss the possible impact of Brexit on strategic decisions of investors and will present current trade dynamics between Poland and the UK.

The speakers in the panel discussion will include: Michael Dembinski – Chief Advisor, BPCC and Anna Zapart - Senior Manager, Grant Thornton.

The debate will be followed by lunch and networking.
