Coaching Conference 2014
We are pleased to announce that AQR, in partnership with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, will be delivering a Coaching Conference.
The conference will bring together over 95 executive coaches – from beginners to professionals mainly from the health sector.
The Conference will be highly practical and will equip coaches with tools and techniques to use in their everyday coaching roles.
The application of coaching within large organisations will be addressed and the introduction and benefits of having a coaching culture will be a key theme.

Professor Peter Clough
Manchester Metropolitan University
Peter joined MMU after a lengthy career at Hull University. Peter is both a Chartered Sport Psychologist and a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, mainly focussed on the application of psychology to enhance performance. He has supervised 9 PhDs and numerous other postgraduate students to completion.
Dr Christian van Nieuwerburgh
University of East London
Christian is the programme leader for the coaching psychology programmes run at the University of East London - one of the main centres for coaching in the UK. Christian is a highly sought-after executive coach, researcher and educational consultant with significant leadership experience in the public sector, he has also held senior marketing and business development roles in private sector.
Elaine Akester
Coach, Mentor & Trainer - Emintell Ltd
Elaine is a highly experienced ILM Level 7 leadership coach, mentor, facilitator and qualified lawyer. Elaine’s areas of focus are leadership development & coaching, especially women’s leadership, mentoring framework design and implementation, resilience development and emotional intelligence. Elaine has extensive experience in public, private and third sectors and combines her passion for coaching with a provocative and engaging presentation style.
