Mixer brings English-speaking nations together

The Anglo-Nations Business Mixer held on 20 April 2022 at the Hotel Bristol in Warsaw was a great event with a capacity turnout. We were extremely happy to see such a good crowd of BPCC members among the representatives from other English-language speaking chambers of commerce in Warsaw, including the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland (AmCham), the Polish Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the Irish Polish Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise Ireland. It’s clear that as the pandemic eases, the desire among members to meet in person is strong.

How will Wrocław’s Green Transformation occur in practice?

Eight international chambers of commerce held a Green Energy breakfast in Wrocław on 24 February 2022. Along with the BPCC, members of the American, Belgian, French, German, Scandinavian, Spanish and Swiss chambers in the south-west of Poland all came together to listen to an expert panel discussion about prospects for the green transformation of their region.

CEO Briefing Poland in 2022

It is a long-standing BPCC tradition to invite a panel of CEOs to discuss prospects for the year ahead for business in Poland. This year – the BPCC’s 30th anniversary – was no exception. Like last year, the event was held online; this at least allows those who missed the event to watch the recording on YouTube. As is the case each year, the CEO Briefing gives participants the chance to hear how the Polish economy is expected to fare in terms of new investments with a focus on the key macroeconomic indicators and investor perception of Poland as a location for business.

More female leaders mean more creativity and innovation

The BPCC’s first Female Leadership Forum took place on 28 October 2021, live from the Warsaw headquarters of Standard Chartered Global Business Services Poland, and streamed to a nationwide audience. The aim of the event was to spotlight the experience of women leaders in business, to appreciate their input into the economy, and to see what more can be done to raise female participation in management structures.
