On 14 December 2017, the long awaited International Christmas Evening was held in one of the most prestigious hotels in Wrocław – Sofitel. The event in the heart of the city, attracted attendance of over  350 guests, who joined in the festive atmosphere.

The International Christmas Evening, co-organised by the British Polish Chamber of Commerce, Belgian Business Chamber, Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, was held at the Sheraton hotel, Poznań, on 13 December.

On the 7th of December BPCC members from Upper Silesia gathered at the 1st Christmas Networking cocktail in the region organised at Reden Panorama Bar in Holiday Inn Dąbrowa Górnicza.

This year's Christmas Business Mixer at the Polish Embassy in London had a substantive element to it; an overview of how investment support would change in 2018.

On 30 November 2017, at the headquarters of Objectivity in Wrocław, a meeting focused on the implementation and communication of CSR policy took place.

A BPCC workshop focusing the social side of doing business took place at the headquarters of Credit Suisse in Wrocław on 28 November 2017.

On 23 November 2017, Pblink.co.uk held its third Polish Scottish Business Forum, at the RBS Conference Centre in Gogarburn, Edinburgh. Bringing together Polish and Scottish entrepreneurs and business support services, the event was an opportunity to learn, exchange experiences and insights and network.

On 17 November 2017, a BPCC workshop took place at the headquarters of YouEnglish/YouPolish at SkyTower in Wrocław.

On 16 November 2017, more than 60 representatives of local businesses gathered at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Wroclaw, to learn about the implementation of the EU's General Directive on Data Protection (GDPR, or RODO in Polish).  The co-organisers of the meeting were the BPCC with members Comparex Polska, BSI Group Polska and law firm Domański Zakrzewski Palinka Sp.

Although there were fewer participants than in the previous congress, the consensus was that the quality of presentations – and indeed of the participants – was higher than ever. “Our businesses are four years older, we’ve grown in size, turnover and most importantly – experience,” said one participant.
